Born in the Midwest but raised in Florida, Elliot understands the numerous intangible benefits of life in ‘The Sunshine State’, with its unmatched weather, culture, and diversity. Elliot graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts and subsequently started dating his girlfriend Nikki (who later became his wife). Real Estate has always been Elliot’s passion; however, he was frustrated with how complex and disingenuous real estate agents were throughout the process. The lack of empathy in the real estate world drove Elliot to make it his mission to create transparency throughout the real estate process with the heart of a teacher.
In 2011, Elliot and Nikki moved to Central Florida to embark on this quest. Elliot began his real estate career with Keller Williams Heritage Realty under Gitta Urbainczyk’s team in 2012. Under Gitta’s guidance, Elliot quickly became a top buyer's agent with over one million in gross sales. After a year of building invaluable relationships, Elliot decided to leave Keller Williams and join Freddie Crespo’s brokerage, Investors Real Estate in Lake Mary, Florida
In his first year with Investors Real Estate, Elliot became a top producer and was #1 in sales for 2013. In the following years, Elliot became the recipient of the Gold Club award with sales over 5 million dollars per year. Elliot contributes his success to “doing the right thing.” His empathy and heart of teacher mentality as well as extensive knowledge of the real estate market radiant with his buyers and sellers.
In 2016, Elliot decided to take his love and passion for real estate to the next level by pursing his appraisal certification. He believes having this knowledge helps educate his buyers and sellers during the real estate transaction. Elliot is currently a State-certified real estate appraiser with over 3,000 logged appraisal hours.
Fun fact - There are less than 9,000 State-certified real estate appraisers in the entire State of Florida!!
After almost seven years under the guidance and mentorship of Freddie, Elliot decided to create a foundation for him and his team and open, “The Shugan Group”, a full-service brokerage dedicated to providing expertise and knowledge of the real estate market with the heart of a teacher. The Shugan Group prides itself on always being available to their clients. No call ever goes unanswered and no deal is ever too small. At the Shugan Group, everyone is treated with dignity and respect, no matter what!
